HOMAGE Introduces UPS For Air Conditioners

Appeared in news papers ads, Homage has introduced 4200 Watts / 5000 VA UPS under the brand name of  ‘Homage Inverter Matrix HMX 5000’ . This UPS is capable of running appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, water pumps,vacuum cleaners etc (upto 4200 watts). Check the power rating of your appliances before running them on UPS.



Homage Matrix Series: 

1- HMX 1000:  660 Watts   / 1000 VA  (Inverter/UPS)
2- HMX 2000:  1320 Watts / 2000 VA  (Inverter/UPS)

3- HMX 5000:  4200 Watts / 5000 VA  (Inverter/UPS)

Details:
1- HMX 1000 is designed for running 4 tube lights or 8 energy saving lamps, and 4 fans. 1 battery is required.

2- HMX 2000 is designed for running 8 tube lights or 20 energy saving lamps, and 8 fans. 2 batteries are required.

3- HMX 5000 is designed for running 12 tube lights or 30 energy saving lamps, 12 fans, 1 air conditioner (1 ton), 1 refrigerator (12 cubic feet), 1 washing machine. 4 batteries are required.

(Other appliances can also be used but their power consumption must be within the capacity limit of UPS)



Features and specifications of matrix series:

1- HMX1000 and HMX2000 carry 10 A charger. Whereas, HMX5000 has 20 A charger. These UPS’ have intelligent charger for charging batteries at different charging rates to maintain the efficiency and capacity of batteries.

2- HMX1000 is designed for 660 watts (1000 VA) of load capacity. HMX2000 is designed for 1320 watts (2000 VA) and HMX5000 is designed for 4200 watts (5000 VA) of appliances load. All these power inveters are capable of running at full load without malfunctioning.

3- All these models contain overload protection, battery discharge and over charge protection features. These UPS’ also have LCD display to help users monitor the function.

4- Compatible with wide range of input voltage (90 V to 280 V approx.). Therefore, suitable for use in low voltage areas.

5- Output voltage of backup is rated at 230 V (+10% /-18%) approximately with 50 Hz (+/- 0.1 Hz) frequency.

6- These are modified sine wave UPS and carries 20 ms (narrow range) of switch over time. Therefore, recommended for use with general household appliances.

7- All these Power inverters are designed for use with 12 V batteries. Basically designed for vrla batteries (dry lead acid batteries) but also compatible with flooded lead acid batteries.
