CyberPower makes reliable power backup products for home and office use. Here in this article, I have reviewed one model and posted the description of four models that are currently in my use. These power inverters are basically UPS and can be used for uninterrupted power supply to appliances in case of blackout or temporary power failure.
Note that CyberPower backup and power related products are available depending upon rules and regulations of your country and requirements of people. Some products are region specific and may not be available in your country.

I have been using CyberPower inverter CPS1000EI (1000 VA / 600 Watts LED version) for past several months and I have not faced any troubles while using it. Since it is also a UPS with built-in charger, Its switch over time from external power supply to backup batteries is less than 20 ms (10 ms – 20 ms). Therefore, it is a recommended backup solution for small servers, desktop and notebook computers, game consoles, LED televisions and other electronic appliances. Stylish design brings an elite character to this product.
Charger of this power inverter is capable of charging any battery starting from 35 Ah to 220 Ah. It also contains an excellent cooling system making it possible to operate it in hot weather. Other notable features include under voltage protection, protection against deep discharge of battery and overload protection. (See more features in specifications below)
CyberPower has also launched LCD versions and hybrid solar inverters to go completely off-grid. LCD display monitors the status of inverter and batteries. Additionally, UPS backup power has been increased to 1200 VA (720 Watts) and 2200 VA (1320 Watts) for CPS1200EILCD and CPS2200EILCD models respectively. Whereas, CPS2000EI model is 2000 VA (1200 Watts) power inverter. Charging current of these four power inverters is 10 A, and weight is no more than 2.2 Kg. All these four models are available in two colors black and white. Other larger regular and hybrid inverters are now also available to run refrigerators, washing machines and other heavy appliances.

hi talal i m facing a problem with c.p that it charges but do not show charging it still comes 0 5 and when wapda power is off it doesn’t show any output and all powers goes shut. Please guide
Talal A.
Clean the terminals and check.
Run inverter without connecting output to see if it is running or not.
If problem persists take it to service center.

Please also note that the problem started itself 2-3 days before, without any change in any setup. Before it was going all OK.

I m a facing a problem in my ups. It is cyber power 1100/700 W. It is not shifting to battery mode automatically. When wapda power is there all is ok. Plus batteris are also charging. When wapda power goes off it does not start using batteries it self. All the power and ups itself shuts down in no time, even with minimum load. Then we restart it and all is ok. When wapda power comes it goes to charging mode by itself.
Talal A.
Make sure battery contacts are tight and corrosion free.
If problem continues take inverter to service center.

Is it compatible with solar panels? If yes then how we can attach them with Inverter.
Talal A.
There is hybrid solar inverter model also available. Go for that.

Hi Talal,
Thank you for writing a very informative piece. I am using CyberPower 720watts with 123 ah battery which is not giving enough backup during load shedding. I would be grateful if you could suggest a good battery (brand + ah) to run 3 fans and 3 energy savers in Rawalpindi city, where load shedding is 6 hours/day approax.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards
Talal A.
Buy at least 200 Ah battery. Sorry can not recommend any specific battery brand.

I need some information regarding ups selection. I just need to use it with one fan and a energy saver or sometimes i might use phone charger aswell. Loadshedding time is 6 hours in total at different times during day at night. Please guide me what should i buy for the requirement. Please also guide me which battery is best to use .
Thanks in advance for any information you may provide.
Talal
For that much power need, buy 600 watts or smaller inverter. CyberPower is best brand that makes really good inverters and UPS. Go for any battery larger than 100 Ah. Smaller battery can also be used.

Are these available in canada? Or do I need to buy them online? I am not sure whether these will be appropriate for use with small servers. There is no power outages issues here but I still want to be sure servers are always up and running. Currently, do not want to utilize power generators for extended backup. Instead I will use larger batteries with inverters.
Talal
Yes. You can also order them online. These can be used with servers. I have personally used them and never found any issue. Switch over time is quite low. So, systems won’t shutdown or restart. You can also check their other products on their website for your needs.

1. These are inverters not UPS, no internal battery and transfer time of 20ms is just unacceptable from a UPS!
2. there is no AVR in these
3. charging current is 20A not 10A
4. The efficiency is quite questionable as the PF is just 0.6
5. Reliability of cyberpower is unquestionable!
Ahmed Talal
If you had used any of these models you would not have made such a comment. These are indeed UPS because less than 20 ms switch over time is tolerable by most electronic appliances. You need external batteries to use with these inverters. For AVR feature, you should select from some other models. Charging current is 10 A. Power factor is indeed low. By the way, I have used these with different sensitive electronic gadgets like DVD/Blu-ray Players, desktop PCs, TV tuners, LCDs, TVs and never suffered from any interruption or any sort of restart or shutdown issue.

Such a nice information. Thanks for sharing.
