Update 2: Symantec has upgraded “Norton Internet Security 2015” to “Norton Security 2015” with new engine and more cloud dependency for malware detection. Now, you can not use older Norton Internet Security 2013 or Norton Internet Security 2014 to extend subscription for Norton Security 2015. Newer Norton Security uses separate subscription module. But you can still continue using older Norton Internet Security products if you wish. The protection of your PC will not be compromised if you decide to stay with older antivirus products.
